Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gordon Birbeck can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Across the Pacific

I met Heather on a European bus tour in 1969 & we have corresponded ever since, first by letters & now by email. We shared photos of weddings, babies & now grandchildren. Gord has always been a part of it but it wasn't until Heather & Gord visited Australia in 2001 that we finally met & immediately became good friends. John & I visited Canada in 2005 when Gord was in the earlier stages of Parkinsons. We still had good times & it's those memories we will always remember. Distance makes no difference to freindships. We only wsh we could have been closer to offer more support
