The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Peggy Keating can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I was sad to hear of (downstairs) Peggy's passing. Peggy was always ready with good advice and interesting stories of the past. She always told you the truth even if you did not want to hear it. She was a good friend to my parents and was very missed when she moved to Red Deer. Peggy was a genuinely good person, who loved her family and her friends a lot. Although I lost touch with her during the last few years, I thought of her often. Heaven has a new angel, and she will be watching over you all.

Condolence: Our heartfelt sympathies to Arthur, Sandy, Mark, Miles, Jimmy and family on your loss. Peggy was a great friend from the Travelodge (old Vagabond) in Regina. We met her in 1979 when we arrived in Regina when she was working with Lena up on the second floor. We were forever bound by our Irish heritage. Through the years we were great friends and she was an honorary grandmother to Steve and Vivienne who lovingly and out of great respect always referred to her as Miss Peggy. She was fierce but fair in her approach to everything, never afraid to let her Irish temper show. A terrific lady who will be missed but remembered fondly. We will raise a glass often. Slan Agait Peggy (Goodbye and God Bless).

Condolence: So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a very special friend to Peggy No1 (my Mom), as well as being a second Mom to all of us, a helluva sense of humour, and lovely lady. Please know that our thoughts are with you. Love always, The Mullenix clan

Condolence: Dear Keating Family,

I am Peggy's old boss from the Travel Lodge at Regina. I wanted to pass along my deepest sympathy and condolences to you, and tell you how very sorry I am to hear of her passing. Peggy was a beautiful lady and I always really enjoyed working with her. She was a straight shooter and I truly appreciated that about Peggy, and her candor. She was a very special lady and she will be deeply missed!

Very Sincerely,
Don Urzada
