The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ada Barg can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Chris and Jenn Barg
Condolence: Chris and I wish to send our condolences to you, Katherine. We have many memories of Aunt Ada, she was a very kind woman, always doing something for someone in need. Our oldest daughter thought her name was Ann Taeda. She talked of her often when she was young.
The day before Aunt Ada's death I had just gotten contact information for her. I was going to send a letter as she had been on my mind lately. I wish I had done so sooner.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. God Bless!

Condolence: Dear Kathy, We are sorry to hear your Mom passed away, and so thankful we had the privilege to know your Mom & Dad. Your Mother was a wonderful woman and we have a lot of good memories from the time we were neighbours. The "bear" stew, the canned pears, the chicken canning!!! So many stories! Most of all we remember her kindness and her love for the Lord. We share your loss and pray God will comfort you with your many special memories of your Mom. Take care Kathy! With love, Bob & Joan Mumford & family.

Condolence: Ada was an amazing person. We got to know her after moving to Alberta. We were friends of her sister Hannah so it was great to get to know Ada. She had an interesting life and knew where she was going after death. We know that she loved you Katherine and was very proud of you. She loved your dogs too. She was independent and strong and lived a full life that all of us can hope to follow.
My mother, Nelda Shantz still lives at Fairview and enjoyed the times that Ada came (often by bus) to visit Hannah. She also sends her sympathies.
I had to laugh when I found out that you finally convinced her to fly to KW rather than taking the Greyhound. She sure did like to be independent and not take advantage of others. But she also strongly believed in helping others. And she sure could tell some good stories! I hope some day you write her life story. Maybe she did that herself. If so, I'd love to get a copy!

Condolence: My heart goes out to the family and friends of Dear Ada Barg... she was such a beautiful lady inside and out. When I had chatted with her, I knew she was in love with God. She was so pure and honest. Always a smile on her face. She will be dearly missed... God Bless her Soul... Heaven has gained an extraordinary Angel!
