I deeply regret that I never got to know my late cousin Margaretrose better in her adult years, but my fondest memories of her come from my childhood and early teenage years. My memories of her were as a very kind and caring person who was always on the lookout for others (especially when a younger cousin came to visit).
Family visits to Margaretrose's family farm in the summertime were always the hilight of our trips to Saskatchewan. And as a city boy from Edmonton, I always looked forward to the farm initiation (whether I liked it or not) and especially the crash course in horse back riding!
I remember Margaretrose as always willing to take time out from her day to get to know prople (like her visiting cousins) and show genuine interest in getting to know you. Even though our visits were infrequent, she left a lasting impression in my heart, and I cherish those memories.
I'm sure she was an outstanding educator, wife, mother, and recent grandmother in her short time with us in this life. She has certainly graced us all with her kindness and compassion for others.
My deepest sympathies to her family.
Kindest Regards,
Bradley W Shuya
