One year Bob went to Hawaii and after a few days of fun and relaxtion Bob received a package. To Bobs surprise the package contained the operations manual from work. Instead of just throwing the whole package in the garbage which most people would of done.Good old Bob carried these two very large books all around Hawaii. Then Wally Weist tried to claim the shipping charges on his expense account which Bob refused. Bob got his pound of flesh.
One halloween night Lorne Lemay and Wally Weist gave Bob a shocker when they phoned Bob at home stating [old leaky] a substation on the north end of Whitecourt which leaked oil all the time stating the station was down and needed help. Bob raced to the station to assisst but upon entering the control shack the boys handed Bob a rum and coke.
One christmas Bob procrastinated in getting a christmas tree and there just was this lovely spruce tree in front of his Bob's residence so he went out and cut this tree down. The reaction out of Wally you would think Bob had commited murder because Wally Weist was kind of a tree hugger any way.
Every christmas Bob would say I wonder what I bought for myself this year.Wally would find one of Bob's credit card statements which contained different items you could purchase on your card. Wally would place an order using Bob's credit card and Bob would just take everything in stride.
It was my pleasure to work with such a caring, knowledge able and out right great man. Bob will be missed by many and Bob Pîper went home to be with his Lord and rest in peace Bob
