Obituary for Claire Marie Haycock (Howard)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. Claire Marie Haycock of Red Deer, Alberta, surrounded by her loving family, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Claire was born on May 7, 1938 at Consort, Alberta. Her passions were her family; and she loved hunting and being outdoors. Claire will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bud Haycock of Red Deer, Alberta; her children, Kenneth Rud of Red Deer, Alberta, Kaye Hanson of Red Deer, Alberta, Cheryl Scammell of Olds, Alberta, Kjersti Keller of Olds, Alberta; step children, George Haycock of Edmonton, Alberta, Donna Holt of Red Deer, Alberta, Catherine Fitzgerald of Beaumont, Alberta, Rose McQuarrie of Red Deer, Alberta, Dolly Heppner of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and all of their spouses; twenty-four grandchildren, and forty-six great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her brothers, Emerson Howard of Strathmore, Alberta and Dale Howard of Kelowna, British Columbia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Claire was predeceased by her parents, Marie and Babe Howard, a brother, Bill Howard, and a step daughter, Denise Haycock. A Celebration of Claire’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
