Obituary for Norman Eugene Wiebe

Norman Eugene  Wiebe
Mr. Norman Eugene Wiebe of Red Deer, Alberta, (formerly of Brooks, Alberta) passed away peacefully with his wife, Pat and his best friend, Marvin Seely by his side, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the age of 70 years. Norman was born at Brooks, Alberta. It was there he was raised and also received his education. Norman spent his life working in the Oilfield Industry with B.J. Well Services and Nowsco, before his retirement. At an early age, Norman learned to cook and bake which was a lifelong passion of his. He loved gardening and spent many wonderful hours of enjoyment tending his garden each year. Although he lived his life with many health struggles; Norman always pursued his dreams and maintained his cheerful disposition and positive attitude throughout. He strived for professionalism and success in all areas of his life. Norman will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Pat; his son, Darryl Wiebe of Dawson Creek, British Columbia; his mother, Alameda Wiebe of Brooks, Alberta; and his four granddaughters, Micayla, Shayda, Jadyn and Ryleigh, all of Beaumont, Alberta. He is also survived by his brother, Weldon Wiebe; as well as numerous other relatives and many dear and faithful friends. Norman was predeceased by his father, Nicholas and a sister, Shirley. Honoring Norman’s wishes, no Funeral Service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Interment will take place at the Brooks Cemetery, Brooks, Alberta, at a later date.
