Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Reginald Langford can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Reginald "Reg" Langford

Reginald "Reg"  Langford
Mr. Reginald Godfrey ‘Reg’ Langford of Red Deer, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the age of 71 years. Reg was born on July 17, 1943 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He emigrated to Canada in October of 1967, where he settled and raised his family. Reg will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of forty-three years, Clarinda, his son, Sean (Carmen), his daughter, Colleen (Rob) and his grandchildren, Ayleigh, Kieran and Maren. He will also be sadly missed by his two sisters, Sally and Esmé and his brother, Brian (Rhonda), as well as his nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends, too numerous to mention. Reg was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Rose Langford. A Celebration of Reg’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. A Private Family Interment will take place at a later date at the Gadsby Cemetery, Gadsby, Alberta. If desired, Memorial Donations in Reg’s honour may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta and N.W.T. at www.heartandstroke.com or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
