Mr. Victor Alexander Hazanoff of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Victor will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Anne-Marie Hazanoff (nee Schjelle) and his son, Michael (Diane) Hazanoff, all of Red Deer. He will also be sadly missed by his sister, Galina McLaws of Bloomington, Indiana, as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends. Victor was predeceased by his daughter, Lisa Hazanoff. Relatives and friends are invited to come and pay their respects at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with The Reverend Father Timothy Chrapko officiating. Interment will follow at the Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta. If desired, Memorial Donations in Victor’s honor may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories at www.alzheimer.ab.ca.
