As a young boy coming to visit my grandmother in Red Deer, my grandmother's kitchen was a "flurry of love" captured in her endless cooking, baking and preparations. As a child you could not help but be drawn to her constant motion, laughter, stories, and peppermints carefully hidden from view but available to those who quiety asked.
