It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Renee Enid Wostradowski at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the age of 60 years. Renee was born on January 1, 1959 in New Westminster, British Columbia. She grew up and attended school in Eston, Saskatchewan. After school, she worked in Eston. Here, her son, Jay was born in 1985. Renee later moved to Red Deer; where she met and married the love of her life, David Wostradowski. She started and ran a very successful business for twenty-two years. Renee loved her work, as it gave her the chance to interact and socialize with her many clients. She loved spending time tending her flowers and garden, always with her beloved dog, Barney, by her side. Renee enjoyed camping trips and the yearly winter get away, to tropical destinations. She fought the good fight, but could fight no more, and passed away peacefully, with her family and friends by her side. Renee will be deeply missed by her loving husband, David Wostradowski; her son, Jay Carriss of Airdie, Alberta and her granddaughter, Emma Carriss. She will also be sadly missed by her brother, Gary and her sisters, Debbie, Karen and Brenda. Renee was predeceased by her parents, Eric and Margorie Collinge and a sister, Gayle. A Memorial Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Renee’s honor may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer society at www.cancer.ca.
