Condolence: Greg, Andrew and Colleen, I cannot imagine the heartache that you must be feeling right now, but know that I am thinking of you all at this very sad time and send my love. I met Max and April in 1980 when I moved to Red Deer. I was just a teenager at that time, and it was the beginning of a wonderful friendship that I will cherish forever. They stood for me when I was married as well. This past June I had pleasure of having a wonderful dinner with Max, Colleen and Andrew at their home. Little did I know it would be the last time I would get to enjoy the company of this amazing man. You always had a smile that would brighten any room. My dear friend you will be missed more than you know. I am very thankful to have had the pleasure of knowing you and your family. You will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace my friend. XO

Condolence: It will be very difficult to fill the void that Max has left in our hearts. Max's face would always light up when he spoke of his 2 sons, Greg and Andrew. He was so proud of them and loved them very much. Colleen kept Max smiling and he loved her. Their time together was filled with fun, love, and laughter. Max had a big heart and the unique ability to make instant and forever friendships. He had a very wide circle of friends and we were truly blessed to have been included among them. - "Hey B'y, stay where you're to, 'til we comes where you're at". We will miss you, Max!

Condolence: To Max's family...You most likely do not know me but I did have the privilege of knowing Max. We grew up together and spent some quality time as buddies while he was going to school in St. John's. I probably saw Max 3-4 times over the last 35+ years, but every time we bumped into each other, it was like it was only yesterday we had chatted. We shared some good times and memories and I am sure you have many more that will keep him in your life. Please accept my condolences's at your lost... Regards

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Max's passing. He was such a blessing to our brother Nelson when he had cancer. He would visit the hospital almost every day and even took my sisters Clara Ann, Joy and me to have supper at his house. We all squeezed into his pick up. May God sustain you in the coming days.

Condolence: Shocked and saddened to learn of Max's passing. We last talked at our 40th class reunion 2 years ago - he was so vital then. We grew up together - he lived across the street and 2 doors down on Grenfell Heights. While boys and girls didn't "play" together way back then, there are so many memories of waiting for the school bus together, the guys playing road hockey in "the station" driveway," softball games and spotlight at the "bumpity bean" ... I am so sorry for your loss. He was one of a kind.
