Obituary for Julia Gwendolyn Williams (Thibeau)

Julia Gwendolyn Williams (Thibeau)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Julia Gwendolyn Williams at Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the age of 57 years. Julia was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on November 25, 1960. Julia was a passionate person who loved all animals, the outdoors, fishing and Christmas. She was also an avid crafter who loved to laugh and spend time with her family and friends. Julia had many medical struggles throughout her life and always kept a positive and optimistic attitude. In the fall of 2013, she became gravely ill, and received the gift of life in the form of a liver transplant. We all treasured the extra years she was given. Julia passed away surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Charles Metcalfe for his compassionate care of our loved one. Julia will be lovingly remembered by parents, John and Dora Thibeau of Red Deer, Alberta, sisters, Darlene (Frank) Ford and Johnna (Bernie) Walker of Red Deer, Alberta, a sister in law, Pam Thibeau of Red Deer, Alberta, and special niece Amy Currie, and very special grand neice Rylee Currie, and numerous nephews, nieces and her many very dear friends. Julia was predeceased by her loving husband, Wallace Williams, a sister, Cathy Jackson and a brother, Randy Thibeau. As per Julia’s request, a Private Celebration of her Life will be held at 93 Turner Crescent, Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
