Condolence From: Pauline Mousseau
Condolence: Jason, Corine and the entire Volk family,

I'm sure today was emotion-filled - you were certainly in my thoughts and prayers.

A loving, kind, stalwart, and generous father is a treasured gift for children and it sounds like you had that in spades. May your many cherished memories, from the shared laughs to the moments of faith, help you now as his presence in your life takes on a new dimension. I'm sure the fulfillment of his Great Reward is underway. Blessings.

Condolence: Our most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Larry Volk
We honor the passing of outstanding vounteer, Larry Volk

"In the obituary in the Red Deer Advocate of September 6, 2018, we learned of the passing of Larry Volk. Larry, a wonderful and generous man, became a valuable Habitat volunteer after we received the railway lands from the City for the purpose of Habitat housing in 2002.

He contributed his energy and connections with Red Deer builders and suppliers, allowing us to access donations of services and materials. His skills as a house builder gave Habitat the ability to build its first 2 homes in Riverside Meadows, with more to follow. He and his wife Sharon gave Habitat the support it needed in the early days.

We are saddened by his passing and express our sympathy and condolences to the Volk family."

-Sam Denhaam, Past Board Member

Larry was an outstanding Habitat volunteer, and invaluable in making the first Habitat houses in Red Deer possible.
Habitat for Humanity Red Deer honors him for his invaluable contribution to our mission, for which we will be eternally grateful.

Condolence: I met Larry a few years ago at the Tennis Club. I thought he was pretty grumpy at first but as I got to know him I realized there were many layers to Larry and I enjoyed kidding with him and peeling back some of those layers. I'll miss that.
Rest in Peace Larry.
