The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of "Sherry" Hauck can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Recently, our family lost an important pillar to our foundation, and its hard to describe the hurt, and sadness I know we all share. My grandmother, Sherry Hauck has passed away from a hard fight with cancer and it destroys me to know she won't be here on this earth, preparing her delicious food or planting in her award winning garden. She was a tough traditional woman who had her morals and ways, but she was always a great dancer and an amazing shoulder to lean on. She and my always funny grandfather Eric Hauck helped me through my schooling in the states, my divorce when I moved home, and any advice I needed along the way. Both had and have always been a beacon of home, a reminder that family comes first, and to be polite at the table. I remember my first red tricycle from them. lol. I remember Nana making us old timey sundaes and painting eggs with us on easter, taking our minds off troubles and always spending quality time. Us dancing in the kitchen to Dean Martin ...... Some of the best of times. My Nana. My beautiful nana. I am so happy youre no longer in pain. I know youre happier now with Uncle Hob and Noel by your side and to be with your parents again, and wherever that maybe, I hope its peaceful and full of flowers. I will always love you and cherish our time together and I thank you for being there for me when I needed you most. And Pops, if youre reading this, we love you dude and we're not going anywhere. Stay Strong. My love to others in this time of hurt, my uncles and auntie, my Auntie Autumn, and to my mom Jacquie Glenn for helping nana in her low times: thank you for being with her when she needed you. She was lucky to have you, as I am. Always.
