It is with great sadness, the family of Mr. Thomas Hugh ‘Tom’ Chalmers announce his passing on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Tom was born and raised in Doaktown, New Brunswick and moved to Alberta in the early 1950’s. He worked for the Royal Bank until his retirement. Tom will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Linda, his son, Doug, his grandson, Corey, and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his loving wife of forty-four years, Lois, two infant daughters, five brothers and four sisters-in-law (Chalmers side); Lois’s three sisters, a brother and two brothers-in-law, on the Doty family side. Following Tom’s wishes, no service will be held. A Private Interment will be held at the Gilby Cemetery, at a later date.
