I was searching for a new address for your Dad to send my usual Christmas letter and was shocked to read of your Dad's passing. I am so sorry for your loss and for having missed the opportunity to be with you and help celebrate your dad's life. Jim was a very good man and loved both of you with every part of his being. He and you were truly blessed to be family.

Condolence: I am so saddened with the passing of my dear brother, Jim. Over the past 2 years he has been a real trooper about trying to live with all the issues of his decaying health. Now he is at peace and this gives me peace as well. I will miss his voice on the other end of the line asking me, "How is my sis today?" Most of all, I have all of those dear memories of our times growing together in to our mature years. They are in my heart and I will cherish them forever.
