1953 – 2017
Mr. Michael John “Mike” Fusedale of Calgary, Alberta, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the age of 63 years. Mike was born on August 5, 1953 at Edmonton, Alberta, and being from a Military family was raised around the world. He completed High School in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Edmonton, Alberta. After he attended Malaspina College on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, he went to work in the flooring trade in 1973 in Edmonton, Alberta, and other Canadian cities. Mike worked for the past thirty-three years as a floor installer in Calgary. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Colin and Mary Fusedale; his sister, Mickey (Harvey) Penhale all of Red Deer; and his nephew and two nieces, Sean Penhale of Calgary; Kristy Penhale and Kari (Anthony) Klywak, of Red Deer. He was predeceased by his wife Diana, in 2013. A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
