It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Lynn Doreen Madge at the University Of Alberta Hospital, on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the age of 71 years. Lynn was born on May 8, 1946 to Catherine and Chester Morrison, and was the oldest of their ten children. Lynn took her schooling in Red Deer, Alberta; where she met the love of her life, Basil; and the couple married in 1963. Together, they had one son, and two daughters. Lynn enjoyed gardening, walking her special companion “Starr”, playing bingo, reading and playing a good card game with family. She will be remembered for her love of baking, her famous Christmas chocolates, and her endless love for her family. Lynn will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Clarissa (Glen) Webb and Leslie (Curtis) Weinrauch; four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by two brothers, John (Joan) Morrison and Dan (Shelly) Morrison; and five sisters, Judy Carroll, Jackee (Reagh) Burgess, Betty (Dan) MacDonald, Pat (Graham) Lee and Sherry Sharp. Lynn was predeceased by her husband, Basil Raymond Madge, a son Timothy Madge, mother, Catherine Morrison, father, Chester Morrison, a sister, Donna MacDonald and a brother, Denny Morrison.
