Obituary for Brigid Ethna Krekoski (Devine)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, Brigid Ethna Krekoski the night of February 24, 2017 at the age of 73 years. She was born on February 24, 1944 in St. Brides were she was raised on a family farm. She met the love of her life Ronald Krekoski and they moved to Fort McMurray were they raised their 2 children, Toby and Tasha. They had 44 wonderful years together until Ron’s passing in 2007. She adored her grandchildren and her great- grandchild and loved to spend time with them. Time spent with family always meant so much to Brigid, a good conversation, travelling and helping out where she could was always a priority to her. She will be greatly missed by her children Toby Krekoski from Fort McMurray, Tasha(Richard); four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sisters Kathleen Cochran, Rose Devine and Maureen Devine. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Krekoski; her parents Sarah and James Devine; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. A visitation will be held at the Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St Paul, AB (5626-51 St) March 3, 2017 at
7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the St Michael’s Parish, Elk Point, AB (5329- 48 Ave) March 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Gerard Gauthier officiating. Parkland Funeral Home, Red Deer entrusted with arrangements. 403-340-4040 www.parklandfuneralhome.com
