Pat was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend who loved her family more than anything. She spent most of her life in the Crowsnest Pass but moved to Red Deer, Alberta five years ago to be closer to her children and grandchildren. When she wasn’t spending quality time with her family, Pat enjoyed travelling, teaching piano, and baking. Pat passed away on February 22nd in the Red Deer Hospice after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Foncine Olinek and leaves to cherish her memory her loving partner Norm Hawkes and her three children Tracy (Randy Barthel), Kyle (Dana North), and Brenda (Chad Thresher). She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Sarina, Emilee, Dawson, Liam, Marley, and Cole and so many more family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at the Bellevue Legion Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM.
