Robert Douglas Alton
Mr. Robert ‘Bob’ Douglas Alton of Red Deer, passed away on Tuesday the 27th day of September, 2016 at the age of 51 years. Bob was born in Edmonton to loving parents, Sid and Joyce Alton, and was raised in Sherwood Park and Red Deer. Bob loved his family, his friends, the great outdoors, and his pets. Bob’s greatest joy was being Megan’s dad. He will be missed by all those who loved him. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Joyce Marilyn Alton of Red Deer; his daughter, Megan Helen Alton of Red Deer, her mom Kathy Alton (Hawkins) , and by his sister, Lori Ann Alton of Edmonton, Alberta as well as his neice Ashley (Robb) Barnes (Alton); and his sister, Cheryl Joyce Alton (Murray Clapson) of Red Deer, and his nephew Cole Robert Alton, numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Sherrie Hillman was his life long friend. Bob was predeceased by his father, Sid Douglas Alton. A Memorial Service for Bob will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67A Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Bob’s honor may be made directly to Safe Harbour, 5246 – 53 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 5K2.
