Condolence From: Debbie Leonhardt
Condolence: How taken aback I was to see Fred's smiling face in the Drumheller Mail. I kind of thought he'd be around forever. I will never forget our wonderful visits. I loved his stories but most of all the way he expressed his love of Helen. I was more than flattered when he said that I reminded him of her. He was always making jokes and sometimes stretching the truth, just a little, and Helen would say "Oh, Fred". Fred and Helen were my first neighbors in the true sense of the word when I was first introduced into farming. I love stories of the past and will hold his wonderful tales in my heart forever. I have the old wringer sitting in my laundry room, bushel basket in my bedroom which he gave to me. Helen, hold tight all those wonderful memories of a man that loved you with a passion. I will be thinking of you and your family through these hard times. Love from all of us - Stewart, Debbie, Corey, Adam, and Garrett Leonhardt
